The assignment was to design an interactive, visual one-page website focused on a historic explorer. The main goal was not to make a full biography, but instead focus on a single important or defining moment, making history accessible and engaging through an interactive website.
Description
My assignment was about the story of the final journey of Alexandrine Tinne. She was a pioneering 20th century Dutch explorer and one of the first European women to attempt to cross the Sahara. The interactive one-pager tells the story if her final journey, her unique style of desert travel with luxury, and the fatal events that caused her death.
